Strong industry impulses – SEDA represented with a booth and presentation
The Vehicle Recycler Conference (AVT) 2025 in Hohenroda was one of the best-attended events of recent years. Over two days, industry experts gathered to exchange ideas, discuss new regulations, and explore current challenges and innovations in end-of-life vehicle recycling.
SEDA Umwelttechnik war auch in diesem Jahr wieder vor Ort – vertreten durch Sebastian Raubinger, der sowohl am Messestand als auch mit einem fachlichen Vortrag wertvolle Impulse beisteuerte.
Strong attendance and a high-quality program
Right from the start, the conference highlighted how essential cross-industry dialogue has become. The workshop on illegal dismantling was packed, demonstrating the urgency of this issue for both companies and authorities.
The second day featured a dense program of presentations from associations, industry and operational practice – covering the new End-of-Life Vehicle Regulation, digitalisation and 3D technology, tool innovations, battery-related topics, and the class action against the end-of-life vehicle recycling cartel.

SEDA’s contribution: Safety, EV expertise & practical insights
In his presentation, Sebastian Raubinger provided practical insights into current challenges surrounding electric vehicles, safety requirements, and modern recycling processes. At the SEDA booth, many visitors gathered information about innovative solutions for depollution, dismantling, and battery recycling – areas gaining even more importance due to increasing regulatory demands.
Conclusion: A successful event full of energy and momentum
The AVT 2025 once again demonstrated the dynamic development of the industry. The open discussions, high attendance and strong commitment of all participants made this year’s conference a remarkable success.
SEDA would like to thank the organising team, all exhibitors, and the many visitors for the constructive discussions and valuable exchange.
We are already looking forward to AVT 2026 on 6–7 October in Hohenroda!
