On its 75th anniversary, the BIR (Bureau of International Recycling) invited the company SEDA-Umwelttechnik GmbH to give a lecture on the recycling of electric vehicles. Over 1500 participants from 65 countries (800 companies) from the recycling industry took part in this event in Amsterdam. The World Recycling Convention takes place annually at a different location and it is the main event in the recycling branch.

Sebastian Raubinger was on site for SEDA and showed the new ways in the recycling of electric vehicles and lithium-ion batteries. The focus was on training, equipment and location.

The Bureau of International Recycling (BIR) is the only global recycling industry federation representing more than 30,000 companies around the globe, with a direct membership of over 950 companies and 37 national associations from 70 countries. BIR members are world leaders in the supply of raw materials and a key pillar for sustainable economic development.
